Omaha's St. Patrick's Day Celebration took on a special meaning this year with the addition of a fourth sister city for Omaha -- Naas (rhymes with "face"), Ireland. Supported by the Omaha Sister Cities Association, AOH & LAOH, Omaha welcomed a delegation of 39 individuals from Naas, Kildare, Ireland - including the Naas Mayor Willie Callaghan, his wife, and three former Naas mayors and their wives. They visited Omaha March 14-20, 2002.

Read the article on the Naas events in the Midlands section of the Omaha World Herald, Friday, March 8: "Omaha's Irish kin to visit for holiday."
